Security

The website of MABI AG is protected as well as possible by organizational and technical security measures against unauthorized access, loss, misuse or falsification. Despite high security measures, complete protection against all occurrences is not possible.

Disclosure of personal data

Personal data will not be transferred to third parties without your express consent. Transfers to third parties such as law enforcement agencies, public authorities and courts are only carried out by legal obligations. Our employees are also obligated to maintain confidentiality and to handle your transferred personal data confidentially.

In this context, companies affiliated with MABI AG, as well as service providers contractually bound to us for commissioned data processing, are not considered third parties.

Collection, processing and use of personal data

If you use our website for purely informative purposes, i.e. if you do not register or otherwise transmit information to us, we only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server (log files). Without this data, it would not be technically possible in part to deliver and display the contents of the website. This data also enables us to improve our offer in a targeted manner. The legal basis in each case is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DSGVO (legitimate interest). This includes:

  • Date and visit of the URL on which the visitor is located.
  • URL that the visitor visited immediately before
  • Operating system used
  • IP address and domain from which access is made
  • Technical information about the visit (http method, http version, http status code, length of transmitted data)
  • Browser used

Cookies use

In addition to the aforementioned data, cookies are stored on your computer when you use our website. MABI AG uses cookies to make its website attractive and user-friendly. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

General information about cookies

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard drive, but do not contain any viruses or cause any damage. Our website uses "session cookies" on the one hand. These cookies track your movements between the various pages of our website during a session, so that you are not asked, for example, for the same information that you have already provided on our website. Cookies serve two primary purposes. They help us to make it easier for you to navigate through our offer and enable the correct display of the website. When you close and reopen the browser, a new user session with a new cookie ID starts. On the other hand, so-called "global cookies" are used, which measure the traffic of the website and identify the visitors and the session. These cookies are not deleted with the session, but replaced after one year.

You can prevent cookies from being saved by making the appropriate browser settings. However, in order to use our website with full functionality, we do not recommend this.

In addition to our website, MABI AG is present in various social media. We are currently represented on YouTube and LinkedIn. Please refer to the privacy policy of the respective operator for the purpose and scope of data collection as well as the provisions regarding the use of your data by the respective platform.

Included content

On our website, we use videos from YouTube, LLC 901 Cherry Ave, 94066 San Bruno, CA, USA, a Google LLC company, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. We have integrated YouTube videos into our online offering, which are stored at http://www.youtube.com and can be played directly from our website. These are all integrated in "extended data protection mode", which means that no data about you as a user is transmitted to YouTube if you do not play the videos. Only when you play the videos, the data mentioned in the next paragraph will be transferred. We have no influence on this data transmission. The integration of YouTube videos increases the attractiveness of our website. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

By visiting the website, YouTube receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding subpage of our website. In addition, the data mentioned in the section "Collection, processing and use of personal data" are transmitted. This occurs regardless of whether YouTube provides a user account through which you are logged in or whether there is no user account. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be directly assigned to your account. If you do not want the assignment with your profile at YouTube, you must log out before activating the button. YouTube stores your data in usage profiles and uses them for purposes of advertising, market research and/or needs-based design of its website. Such an evaluation is carried out in particular (even for users who are not logged in) to provide needs-based advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact YouTube to exercise this right.

For more information on the purpose and scope of data collection and processing by YouTube, please see the privacy policy. There you will also find further information about your rights and setting options to protect your privacy: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy . The use of YouTube may also result in the transmission of personal data to the servers of Google LLC in the USA.

We send newsletters, e-mails and other electronic notifications (hereinafter "newsletter") only with the consent of the recipients or a legal permission. Insofar as the contents of the newsletter are specifically described in the context of a registration, they are decisive for the consent of the users. Otherwise, our newsletters contain information about our services and us. In order to subscribe to our newsletters, it is generally sufficient to provide your e-mail address. However, we may ask you to provide a name, for the purpose of a personal address in the newsletter, or further information, if this is necessary for the purposes of the newsletter. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DSGVO.

You can revoke this consent at any time and unsubscribe from the newsletter or press distribution list. Further information can be provided voluntarily: When subscribing to the newsletter, you can provide company as well as your phone number and interests. This information helps us to adapt our offers to your professional needs and interests.

If optional information can also be provided in a form (such as the company, the medium, the function, the location or other contact data), this is expressly voluntary. Not providing the optional information is not associated with any disadvantages - apart from a possibly limited possibility of contact.

When sending the newsletter, we evaluate your user behavior. For this evaluation, the emails sent contain so-called web beacons or tracking pixels, which are single-pixel image files that are stored on our website. For the evaluations, we link the data mentioned under "Collection, processing and use of personal data" and the web beacons with your e-mail address and an individual ID. With the data obtained in this way, we create a user profile in order to tailor the newsletter to your individual interests. In doing so, we record when you read or forward our newsletters, which links you click on in them and infer your personal interests from this. We link this data to actions you have taken on our website. We use these functions based on our legitimate interest in targeted advertising. The legal basis in this respect is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DSGVO.
